Oler Relo Group, an agent for United Van Lines and leading global transportation, household goods, and workplace services company based in Houston, TX, today announced that it has purchased Bohren’s Moving and Storage Parsippany, NJ moving and storage operations. The sale is effective March 11, 2022.
The purchase of the Parsippany operations complements the established Oler Relo Group’s business lines in Houston which includes residential moving, workplace services, logistics, move management and global mobility. “We are excited to expand into New Jersey! A Northeastern presence will allow us the opportunity control the service level, expand capacity for our customers and UniGroup, and grow our customer base within one of our largest lanes. What truly excites us most are the folks we get to add to the Oler Relo Family. Al Ponchak, formerly of Holman and Bohren’s, will be leading the company’s presence and joining our leadership team. Oler Relo Group is the 10th largest hauler of household goods for United Van Lines and with this purchase of Bohren’s, the hauling capacity will only increase. Oler Relo Group’s interstate fleet will grow by 22% which will allow Oler to provide moving and storage solutions between the southwest and northeast. The purchase also builds upon Oler Relo Group’s growth strategy of supporting international household goods shipments by being in two of the largest seaports.
